Muscle Spasm
mus·cle spasm
\ˈmə-səl\ spa-zəm\
noun
There are approximately 600 muscles in the body that work as a unit to control even simple movements. Muscles work with cartilage (and other joints) and bone to provide motion. A muscle spasm occurs when the spinal vertebrae become irritated from misalignment, and this serves to disrupt the nerve muscle relationship.
