An estimated 15 million Americans suffer from migraine headaches. One of the most common reasons for this type of pain is cervical spinal degeneration, according to most chiropractors. This is a misalignment and straightening of the neck, which results in pressure being placed on the nerves and arteries. Swelling ensues, and with less blood and oxygen able to reach the brain, a migraine headache occurs.
