Scoliosis
sco·li·o·sis
\ˌskō-lē-ˈō-səs\
noun
An abnormal curvature of the spine. It often does not show any noticeable signs in children, barring an effect on the back’s appearance. Physical signs of scoliosis include a tendency to lean to one side and clothes that do not hang properly, along with a visibly curved spine. Typically, only adults with this condition feel any physical pain.
